The detection of nucleic acid components in blood, especially the detection and analysis of circulating DNA in plasma (cfDNA), is an important field in current disease diagnosis methods. The study found that only a very small amount of cfDNA was found in healthy plasma samples. (Approximately 5-30 ng/ml), an increase of peripheral blood cfDNA levels is associated with many clinical disease occurrences. Under normal conditions, during the process of fresh blood collection, storage and transportation, nucleated cells in the blood are easily broken and release the genomic DNA and other components, resulting in contamination of circulating DNA components in plasma or degradation by nuclease-media. The solution to this problem has always been one of the important aspects of the pretreatment of such biological samples.
This product can be directly used for the preservation, transportation and downstream analysis of free DNA in human blood samples. After the blood sample is fully mixed with the pre-installed protective reagent, it can be stably stored at 6-37 °C for 14 days. It meets the needs of researchers for short-term storage and transportation of blood samples, provides protection of separation and extraction of blood microbial DNA, plasma circulating DNA, circulating nucleated cells etc.
