Product Introduction
BeaverBeads™ Human CD3/CD28 T Cell Activator enables simple and rapid activation and expansion of human T cells without requiring feeder cells (antigen-presenting cells) or antigens. The T cell activators are 5 µm inert superparamagnetic beads with a size mimicking antigen-presenting cells, covalently conjugated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 antibodies. Recombinant human IL-2 can be added during culture to stimulate T cell proliferation. After T cell activation or expansion, the beads can be easily removed using a magnetic separator.

Activation Efficiency
Purified human CD3+ T cells were activated with BeaverBeads™ Human CD3/CD28 T Cell Activator for 24–48 hours. The cells were stained with FITC anti-human CD69 (clone FN50) and PE anti-human CD25 (clone BC96) and analyzed by flow cytometry.
